What Do We Have?

We are especially proud of our ramen, which is made following the traditional family recipes of our Japanese Head Chef Daigo Takagi. The broth of this popular noodle soup dish is boiled for as long as nine hours to achieve perfection, and the noodles are freshly handmade in our kitchen.

Of course, there are plenty of other exciting Japanese delights in the menu as well. To name a few, we have a selection of handmade gyoza, donburi, yakisoba, onigiri and the ever-popular sushi. If you feel like having a poke bowl of a truly wide variety of ingredients, we recommend you visit Tokumaru rasuaurant at Solaris centre, the Baltic Station Market food court or Lõunakeskus in Tartu. Make sure to try the refreshing Japanese craft beer and our top-quality selection of teas that we bring to Estonia from the best Japanese crafters. It is no secret that Tokumaru is the best in town when it comes to Japanese tastes to vegans.

What Do We Care About?

Just like we care about our customers, we care about the environment around us. All of Tokumaru’s takeaways only use reusable dishes for eating on the spot. And, our takeaway dishes are packaged in reusable Ringo packages. As a result of our collaboration with the animal protection organisation Nähtamatud Loomad (Invisible Animals), we only use free range eggs in our restaurants, brought to us from Äntu Farm.

Interior Design

The authors of the calm and minimalist, yet always original Japanese-style interiors of Tokumaru restaurants are Tomomi Hayashi, Mari Põld and Helen Teetamm. Almost all of our interiors have found recognition at the prestigious annual award contest of the Estonian Association of Interior Architects.
